The Association of Chinese Helping Professionals and Psychologists-International (ACHPPI) has just issued a statement of support for Jun’s case. Here’s an excerpt from the English version of that statement:
Supporting Mr. Yu’s fight for justice is consistent with ACHPPI’s call to fight all forms of racism and discrimination against Asians, and offers an opportunity to take action in fighting racism and discrimination. Further, more students — in the field of psychology and beyond — could also be harmed like Mr. Yu, unless we all take a united action. As we are members of the helping profession, it is our duty to help each other, particularly someone within our community.
The statement of support calls on ACHPPI members, colleagues and friends to support Jun’s case by sharing the case and donating.
